If i didnt want to swap, what would be the best way to go for hatchbacks?

Sup....welcome to the board...if your not going swap and don't care about performance...go 96-00...DX or CX...good grocery getters and very relilable.

well depending on what body style you like...you could go w/ the 5th gen or 6th gen as both pretty much will have the same Engine..

then after the fact you could just maybe build the internals and then go turbo...

Hopw that might be a bit helpful and welcome to the boards...

but if i did want to swap engines.. i would want the lightest car..? or no?

slowEJ6 06-08-2002 09:08 AM

nobody can tell you what you want. if you want a car thats fast and lightweight and dont need power windows, doors, steering, blah blah.....then go with a 92-95 CX/VX.
if you just want a quick daily driver, then nothing wrong with the 92-95 Si or the 96-00 CX/DX's.
of course if you are into style, 96-00 CX/DX is where its at. ;)
