Looks like VW is raising the bar for SUVs these days. They've teamed with porsche to come up with a pretty sweet SUV. If you have an interest in VWs or are just curious check it out.

Mmmmm. Where the heck is Honda at? They need to rethink this whole VTEC thing. I WANT TORQUE!

Those Golf's are SWEEET. Not too shabby of an SUV either.

Golf: *drool* that styling is unbeatable. AWD and a 3.2 would probably push the price up a bit, though.

Rethink the VTEC thing? Did you notice that the golf's 3.2L had variable inlet valve timing? Sounds the same as my vtec to me.

as i've said before hondas never had to fight to be where they are today, they kind of just fell into the spot because they were making the best cars at the time. but now other car companies are starting to fight for the part of the pie and this means honda is going to have to do the same otherwise their gonna fall into the brackground.

Though these changes wont affect the tuners market right away in 2-4 years we'll start seeing alot of these cars riced!

That golf looks really sweet....I'd sport one! I'd also sport the new GTI as well! The VW dealer in my area only got 3 of the new GTIs and my one friend was lucky enough to get one. He probably won't ever let me drive it, but hey, at least I can get a ride in it! :)

Hmm.. that was a pretty ignorant statement.. Tell that to my friend with a Supercharged GTI.. Im sure hed be more then happy to whoop your Durango.

Most people probably dont know this, but VW is one of easiest cars to swap. Most of the motors are interchangable and will bolt right in with little or no modding. They even have the wholes for mounting if the engine isnt even in that car. :bow:

yeah the one thing i like about the vw group is that they have the same engines on the jetta, golf, beater (beetle), the audis, the passat. they don't have 10 engines like honda has for the civic and another 10 for the accord. but if i would need a new car vw would be the last thing i would think about.

Actually.. VW does make several engines..

They just spread them out and give the consumer many types of options so that no matter what you like they give you an option for it. I want a Diesel Civic.. Oops.. they dont make one.. Have to settle for a Hybrid Civic I guess. ;)

One of my best friends has a supercharged GTI, I still laugh at guys in VWs though, can't help it ;)

I always think of Jettas as chick cars, but the rest of them are cool for guys. I might be slightly biased though. :paranoid:

the only time i laugh when i see a VW is when i see a Beetle...thats about it, lol
