tach installation
 

I just bought a 92 civic hatch and was wondering how to hook up an aftermarket tach. Which wire do i tap into. Thank you very much

if you go to like Superstreet.com they have some info on that stuff. I know its somewere in the distrubitor. Thats about all I know about it. Also if you can't find anything there call Landspeed Racing in Phienox(sp?) heres their #888-69-speed. They are pretty cool there and they can help you with alot of questions you may have. Good luck

the tach lead will go to a green and blue wire that comes from the distributor....you just tap into that wire and you will have the reading on your tach....

Others have run it to the ECU or from a lead that goes to the cluster itself but not sure of where on those 2 spots...
