So I race my friends trans am yesterday.....
 

It was bound to happen sooner or later. It's an 82 t/a with a junkyard 305 motor with a few things done. We had played a little down this one road. We pull up to this stop sign, sit there for a minute or so. There's an old guy mowing right up the street probably about 30 yards or so. To the right just as we take off a new yellow c5 vette pulls up and stares. So I spin a little, shifting good from 1-2 which i tend to have problems with every now and then. We blow by this guy full throttle at like 60 or so i would say. He turns around b/c my friends car sounds like a damn dragster. I'm pulling my friend pretty good and then it happens. IF any of you know about stock mustang shifters, u know they suck ass. I fuggin missed third and by the time i could get it back in he was getting up to me and i had no rpms. So i don't know if i lost or it was a tie but it was fun as hell. Especially seeing the old guys face and him jump when we ran by.

Ha. Always fun to scare people (used to do it with my n2o purge all the time). You could call it a kill since you were ahead when you guys stopped.:bandit:

a friend of mine has a 2001 WS6 - he gave me a four second head start and five seconds later, he sped past me - it was quite amusing

Yeah I raced a guy in a ws6 once... he didnt even realize we were racing until 3-4 seconds after I started going... then as soon as I hit about 50 he was past me doing about 75:eek:
