Sounds like you're ready for the gas.

www.evanshondaspecialist.com for the purge kit. The ZEX purge is very nice and very big. It will expel the "stale" n2o real quick and into a nice big cloud. I used to love to scare the hell out of pedestrians with it. Heh heh.

One thing to note. Keep an eye on your A/F since you have an adjustable FPR.

Enjoy! Let me know when you get everything.....

thanx for the purge kit info, im gonna run it w/o the purge for now, and buy the purge mid june. im hoping for 13.7-13.5 when i hit the track.

Depends on the shot size.

55 - 1 step colder
65-75 - 2 steps colder

ChrisCantSkate 05-16-2002 04:11 PM

ok so i need 2 steps colder, what exactly do the plugs do btw since they are colder?

colder plugs run cooler... they generally have a shorter "gulley" between the conductor and the threads... down where the ceramic insulator goes. since they're colder, when you're on the bottle(this increases cylinder pressures immensely) they won't get to hot and start pre-ignition of the air/fuel mixture(detonation= the part in F&F where the computer tells dude his manifold is in trouble :D :D :D )

NGK V-Power coppers are good sturdy plugs. You won't notice anything from the plugs, but remember you need to retard your timing too for 75 shot. That will affect everyday driving. I think MSD has an add-on unit that you can set to retard your timing. If not I know Jacobs makes the Nitrous Mastermind.

damn, i have my timing all the way advanced right now. that was a pain to get itthere, i'll check msd's site for a thing. if they dont, will the jacobs timing adjuster work with my msd box? i have the 6a box with a blaster 2 coil.
