well, i didnt beat him first off. i was on a 4 lane split road 2 days ago and i see a black bmw come up. im going 60mph and he gets upto my speed accelerats so he has a car on me i see the M3 on the back of his car. im thinking.. hrm he's old but he just tried me. so the next light we both are going 30mph to catch it. we line up dead even on the white line and when the light turns green he launchs but i had to give it a gental 3000rpm launch because my cv joints are crapping out. as soon as i hit about 4500 rpms he stoped pulling when i hit 2nd gear i started to gain a tiny bit on him. by 70mph i was at his rear bumper. at 75 he let off and i stoped next to him, gave him a thumbs up, he waved and we went our own ways. kinda nice having the thought of a car with good axles possibly beating a m3. btw it was an older style (97ish) not the new ones.

well, ive herd of preludes with about the same mods as me beat them bairly untill about 130mph whe the bmw top speed gearing takes over but im gonna fix my axles this week if i can squeeze out a desent paycheck and i'll go hunting, and post results... win or loose i dont care, i have fun
