what do y'all think about the Texas Rangers. the baseball team. not the cops. they are in the top 5 highest paid teams in MLB, yet they are also in the top 5 teams with the worst records. i think they have like 6 wins out like 25 games. great huh?

I really don't follow baseball too much. The closest team to me is the Baltimore Orioles...and for just a little bit longer of a drive I could go see the Phillies play....yet again...not much better. but if they are one of the highest paid teams and yet they suck a$$ then the bball commissioner or whatever really needs to look into something cuz sounds like something shady is goin on with all that cash....:bandit:

well truth is i don't follow baseball either it was just a random quote i heard on ESPN the other day. you know what ESPN 2 is good for? women's fitness america pagents. :yes: nuff said.

I think the rangers suck...i live in TX and when i first moved here...(like 8 years ago), i was like in love with them...but they suck now;)...hehe
I can't wait until the Texans plan this coming season...i hope they rock...

well, they probobly pay them the most because they bring fans, you can be the best team in the league, but if your not brining fans, the owner dosnt make money, there fore you dont make money. maybe lowering their salery would inspire them to play harder or whatever, but im assuming the reason they are paid so well is because of the fans that attend the games.

the stands are almost empty here.
