A++????? I've heard of C++, but never A++...what is it??? |
C++ is a programing laguage and A+ or A++ (heard it refered like both) is a Computer Hardware Certification. in other words i will fix computers
|
I'd also like to know... how much does the actual test cost to take?
|
does yahoo still have a search engine??
|
Its A+. I have that one ( & Network+ and a bunch of other vendor certs).
Look into the Exam Prep books. They're pretty good. Don't count on making big bucks with it. The A+ is good starting point. Once you get it, try to get into a tech shop(i.e. - CompUSA or some other shop). Experience is invaluable. |
well i have experience. i worked at CSU as a Hardware tech for one year when i did not take more than 6 credit hours. where do i get the books from ?

They sometimes offer classes at local schools or computer stores. You might ask around. You gotta work your butt off to get that certification and you will be tested over retarded crap that you will never use. I was told it costs 100 bucks to take the test... better pass
|
Yes there is stuff that you may never use. But its a vendor neutral certification so they have to cover everything.
Anyhow, check www.bamm.com or www.amazon.com. |
thanks CA. i know most of the useless crap. When i worked at csu i had to take some tests like a+ and i passed them with the lowest 85%. What i don't like about them is the printer questions
