Noob w/ mechanical ability sayin' HI!!

Hello everyone! I’m 24 years old, living in Boston, and I just purchased a clover green 2000 Civic EX Coupe 5sp in Nov. I bought my civic after I lost my Jetta to a catastrophic fire; I’ve always loved Honda engines – just never thought I’d be driving one. All I have for mods right now is the Honda OEM spoiler. I have a polished AEM CAI, custom fabbed mesh grills, Honda fog lamps, front lip and side skirts sitting in my apartment waiting for a nice day for the install.

I’ve been working on cars since I could hold a wrench, and I’ve been customizing and racing (SCCA Auto-X and Rallies) VW’s since I was 16. I have a B.S. in mechanical engineering (with a concentration in automotive) from Rochester Institute of Technology, and was involved with their Formula SAE race team (for a short time.) I’ve also worked designing drivelines, transmissions and transfer cases for GM (domestic s##t!!) future products division. I’ve got plenty of useless automotive knowledge and know-how, just nothing Honda specific (but I have been reading up) – so hopefully we can learn from each other!! Great to meet you all!!
:)
