Howdy Y'all. I'm new to the whole import scene. D/FW representin. if there is anyone from D/FW here, let me know. i'm just glad to have finally come to my sences and realized that imports are fast-er than domestics. :yes:

Im going to Fort Worth in a week. Id love to meet up with ya while im there. We can go clubbin or something. I havent been back to TX since I was 5 years old so your gonna have to show me the "hot" spots.

glad u decided on an import! and i'm from texas, but not the D/FW area, more like the other side of the state...el paso, it sucks here :paranoid:

are you coming into d/fw airport? if so i will try to find a ride up there to pick you up. why do i need to find a ride you ask? simple. i was racing at ennis motorplex, "LEGALLY" when i burned up my clutch and have not had the funds to buy all of the parts i need yet. i'm not too much of a clubber myself, but i do know a few of the good ones. get back to me on like the flight number and stuff like that.

dude. this WHOLE time i have had my stereo system on here i haven't had the drivers. HOW STUPID AM I? oh well. i fixed it now here they are.:confused:

by the way. FYI nak is the only car cd player manufacturer on the market that offers 20 bit d.a. conversion. everyone else is at 1 bit. even the alpine f#1 which retails for about $3,000. pretty interesting huh.

in a sidebyside test a group of audiophiles could not hear the diff in 1 bit from a portable cd player and 24 bit from a high dollar hometheatre cd player.

i don't know exactly how far dallas is from here. i've never been there. san antonio is like 8 hrs away, so i don't know how much further dallas is. but i am going up to austin in july...that's a little closer to dallas, isn't it? dang, texas is just way too big...

i guess el paso ain't so bad if you don't like to do anything, we have a lof of that to do here!! :D

Im actually driving down. I will have my car and i will be ready to impress. That is, as soon as I get my oil feed line not to leak like hell. Its taking longer than I expected but should hopfully be done by monday (when im leaving).

cool. yeah austin is like 4 hours away from here going the speed limit. personally, i make it in about 1 1/2 to 2 depending on the weather. :yes: Rob, do you have a place to stay while you are going to be here? i must admit that i am living at home again. thats what 6 months of unemployment will do for ya. but if you don't have a place to stay you can crash here. :yes: and Max, really the only way that you will hear the difference is in an extremly high end sq car. personally i can hear it. you just need that extreme audiophile ear. you can't hear it in the lows, but the highs at extreme levels you can hear it quite well.

I think im gonna stay with my grandfather, who I havent seen in about 10 years. I dont think he can hear very well and I know he cant walk so ill be (more than likely) doing his bidding while im here. WHICH WILL SUCK!!!!! My grandmother died the day I was born while driving down to see me. I hope he doesnt shoot me when I get there or something. Old people are crazy. ;(

in case y'all are wondering where i have gone and why i am not posting anymore, i was told that with only 228 posts, i am a post whore. so i will only be posting once a month from now on. and it will be on the night of the 9 day of the month. i've got a question for everyone that reads this. what word do you think would best apply to someone who has 1500+ posts, calling someone with less than 250 a post whore? my guess would be the word "hypocrite."

i am going to basic in a few days, so all of y'all have fun while i can't. if i got in an arguement with you on here, it was all in the interest of fun. everyone else, have a nice life and maybe you'll see me drivin my new F-350 around.
