what's quicker?
Base RSX
or RSX Type-S -Both are complete stock, no added options, no aftermarket products installed onto the car -Considering 200hp, but has more weight due to the power options, sub, etc. and that the 160hp doesn't have some of the luxuries of the Type-S I had an argument with one of my friends about this, he thinks the Base would keep up since it has less weight than the Type-S, but I disagree. |
I think the S has more than enough power to make up for any weight, so I'd go with the RSX-S in a race.

RSX-S
|
s. nuff said.
|
they both suck. I MISS ITR
|
ITR is better...totally agree...
but please stick within topic.... not to find out what other car is quicker and better than the Base RSX and the RSX Type-S (sorry if i sounded rude or like a jack@ss....didn't mean to sound like that if you interpret it that way...just need to know about the 2 cars) |

Seems like the general concensus is the Type S... wouldn't you agree? |

I figured the question was already answered and you could have read it by now. Just my opinion. |

ohh okay....that's cool then... sorry if i sounded rude before.... |
Well I own a RSX base model and the Type S is faster.
it has more torque and hp. the weight really doesn't make a difference but soon enough I'll be able to smoke em. |

RSX Type S

Me too man. But the RSX-Type S would win its only about a 100 pound differnce so. The type s runs a 15.2 stock ITR 14.8 and looks a lot nicer Type R is much better. |

Your definetely right about the type-r looking better, and it handles better. Does anyone know how their compression ratios compare??? I'm interested in knowing which has more turbo potential..... |
I believe the Type R has a bit higher compression. The RSX would be a tad better for turbo'd stock internals. Not power wise but the fact that internals will last a bit longer.

awd 4g63 will win, o wait hehe the type S for sho
