I need good speakers

I was wondering where I can get some good clear, thumping "6-1/2" and "6x9" speakers for my honda. Plan on getting subwoofers and an amp later. And just curious, what do crossovers do? Any sites and answers are welcomed. thanks all

a crossover limits the frequency going to a speaker. for subs it only sends the low frequencys, generally below 120 hz. for mids generally between 80hz and some odd number of khz. and high gets the rest.

Maxvla 04-26-2002 10:57 PM

oops... forgot all about the crossover Q... hmm.
