98 HX wheels on a 94 EX
 

So my friend and I were going to trade wheels for the week because he wanted to see if his 1/8 mile time would improve if he was riding on my HX wheels. Pretty good idea, huh? :yes: Well, it didn't go exactly as we planned. We got his 17" Enkei's on my car, and got my stock 14" Enkei's on his. I was about two blocks down the road when he told me to come back. Turns out the brake calipers on a 94 EX are a little bigger than a 98 HX's. The calipers were grinding up against the rim. It was awful. An afternoon wasted.

the moral of this story is............if your civic has ABS, you cant use HX wheels.
