Comparison on 2002 SI Veloz and 2000 SI
 

Hey has anyone do a comparison or read a comparison on the 2002 SI Veloz and a 2000/2001 SI, on engine ratings etc. I have an 02 SI Veloz and haven't driven a 2000/2001 but the HP specs are 127 hp on the 2002 and 160 hp on the Si, but I heard that it has something to do with a new engine redesign.

the only thing about the new engine is it's not a 1.6L it's a 2.0L
that's all I can think of...

2001+ = 1.7L
but the Si model (here in the states) or Veloz model i guess.....are the DOHC i-VTEC 2.0L versions. not an engine redesign, a whole new engine compared to other civics.

Yah I'm in Canada (EH):D, the Veloz model is the Si with the skirts all around, and the carbon fibre instrument, spoiler, etc

There are a bunch of missleading models between Canada and US. just trying to figure them out i guess

I haven't ever even heard of the Veloz!!! Sounds worth doing a little research on though.

you can play around with it and check it out if you want....pretty much same as the Canadian Si...just with a Veloz badge, Veloz floor mats, rear spoiler, front/rear/side skirts, carbon fibre-look audio panel and only comes in Satin Silver Metallic and Nighthawk Black Pearl....
