My friend told me that I could get a Supra engine for $1,200 and it could be put into my 1997 Civic. Can a Supra engine fit?

Question for ya...y would you do that?. If you're in California, that's illegal. Next, the engine from a Supra is way to big. Anything can be done, don't get me wrong, but you gotta have some $$$. BTW what kind of Supra engine is it? MKIV, MKIII.
Your best bet would to save some cash drop in a B16, B18B, B18C. You can't go wrong with any of those. PM if you got any questions:)

of course you can drop a supra engine into your civic, with A LOT of money and no chance of it being street legal. stick with a honda engine :)
