Test Drive a New Site
 

I know I can count on some willing people here... Been working on a new website (photo rating website) and need some beta testers for it.

Here's what I'm looking for:
[list=1][*]Go the the website (link is at end of post).[*]Register and upload some appropriate photos in whatever category.[*]Mess around, use the system... find out what you like and don't like.[*]Come back here, post any feedback/suggestions - good or bad.[/list=1]

Please only use this forum for specific feedback rather than "yeah, I'll go do it" etc. ;) Try to post specific layout/functionality feedback - I realize there aren't many photos to rate at this point (and thus will cause duplicate images in a session right now) - that's because we're not officially open for business...

I had to "borrow" a couple cars to put up on the import section. lol.. sorry to whoever's cars I borrowed - they'll be coming down shortly ;) :paranoid:

When I go to register, it says "no category selected"... I'm probably just doing something stupid though... :paranoid:

??? That's odd. You don't have a category option when you register... I have tried to duplicate the problem but am able to register every time. I'll go look again - anyone else encounter a similar problem?

Exactly, there was no menu I could select from to fix it. I'll try again in a little while though. :confused:

Looks good chris better then hot or not but you might wanna change the hot/not on the end possible lawsuit. But overall gret site i like te extra options that you've added cars pets etc etc! Allthough im not to keen on the blue!

i signed up and every thing seems to be working fine! i uploaded pics too!! no problems for me

We're getting some good photos on there - and are getting some good testing of the site. Keep 'em coming... it really helps us out a lot. :yes:

one thing i would like to ask is how many times can you vote for a car?? cause the same one keeps comeing up!

Once we get some more photos on the site, the frequency will be cut drastically. The way it works is basically this: once you vote for a photo, you will not be able to vote for it again until 'x' number of people (5 i think) vote for that same photo. After that you can vote again and so on and so on...

Make sense? :)

Thanks for the heads-up. The Hot or Not was only supposed to be a temporary thing and i overlooked changing it. It's been fixed now. Thanks ;)

I went, I registerd, I uploaded a pic of myself and my best friend...who also is a member here on HS. I dig the blue background. My car is blue so of course I'm going to like the blue. Once I get some more pics that I think are decent and some of my car, I'll go and post some more. Anything to help out. The only thing I was having difficulties with was when I would vote for something...guys, cars, pets, whatever...after the page processed my vote it would automatically take me back to the "view all" section. I don't know if this was my error or just they way the page is set up. I do like the fact that you can click below the pics to see all of the pics that particular member has uploaded. I like that. Good Job so far...

Pretty neat actually chris...I'm getting a digital camera soon...so hopefullly I'll huck some pics in there soon.
