New to this forum......and new to Hondas
 

Hey everyone I just upgraded from a 93 Ford Probe 2.0L to a 98 Accord LX 4cyl 5spd. I got this car last friday and drove the 300 miles back to school the next morning. I love this car already! first thing I'm doing to it is installing all my stereo stuff, then I'll probably start with some bolt on mods like intake, exhaust, headers for now.....maybe MSD ignition. these sound good? Anyway yeah my name is Grant I'm 19 from Tumwater, WA....I go to Washington State University in Pullman, WA......yeah just thought I'd say hi, and look around on hondastyle.

yeah the system sounded awsome in my probe, so hopefully a trunk sounds just as good if not better than a hatchback.

Looking at what you have, it seems you into SQ.. In which case the Accord is a great car to run with..

But for SPL, forget about it.. Even with the back seat down, it wont even be close to a hatch.

yeah i'm amazed at the SQ that the ZPA amp sends to my JL 12W6's, but I also want it to thump, so hopefully it still will....I hit 148.8 dB at the front window with this setup in my probe....so a little less wouldn't be terrible.

Hi welcome to HS. I am a proud owner of the 98-00 accord lx 5spds. I just got mine about 2 weeks ago. It is a big change from my lowered truck. Maybe me and you can test and tell each other what worked best on our cars. I hope to catch you later man. Email me sometime jhegs@hotmail.com

I also am a 93 Four Banger Ex-Prober !!!!! I loved mine ! It was such a sexy beast. ... Well I traded mine in for a Honda too, in January ... Needed something a lot more reliable !

yeah i kinda miss the probe too but it just got too small for taking friends places.....that and my stereo got too big for it...haha....yeah I'll definently stick around this forum.
