My CiViC...it's making me mad...
 

Alright...right now i'm having some doubts about my civic...everytime i look at it...i just don't feel right about modifying it...It's all stock right now...maybe that just the problem, but i can't stand looking at it...to me, it looks like it's huge...and everytime i look at another civic it always look smaller than mine...(mine's 4d btw)

What should i do?

Well, if you can't stand looking at it, either get rims and drop it, or get a different car all together. Its all up to your tastes in the end.

well..it's just weird...i love how 4 doors look totally modified...and i just can't picture mine modified...it's weird

Its just because its still stock dude.. Once you start modding it youll start liking it more and more. Eventually you wont be able to stop. ;) Just start laying out your plans for it and doing it bit by bit. Try not to get discouraged because thatll really take the fun out of it. Just try to be patient itll come around sooner or later.

Then you'll like yours when you're done with it. Just go at it!

Hey man I had my car for three years and the only thing I managed to do was tear it up lol
But I just got an exhaust and a modified intake (lol) I'll have a question about that in another post...
But I'm ordering my mirrors and other stuff right now

5th gen 4 door civic are very nice.. I like them better than the coupesand hatch. Start working on it.. It'll turn out nice.

So true YO...!!! Fur real...Allz I gotta say is...I got my civic..and I did some stuff to it.and I never wanted to stop. THEN...i got in an accident...the wing got ripped off...and I put my stock steelies on. MY civic was plain looking...now that I have my wing back on and I have been shining up my wheelz....I have been looking at b18c's and I don't wanna stop....just go with it...it'll look hella tight..believe me.

if you think it looks too big...

1. you have a 4dr (not bad, just bigger then my sexy coupe, thats all) :-P jk

2. you NEED to lower it and put on some thin, 16" rims (like mine)(my avitar) :-P and itll really settle down nice and sporty like on the ground

Yeah man i know how ya feel-i gotta 93 4 dr civic and next to my mates bad ass civic it looks like a tank!but yeah im gettn it lowered and alteezas next week so hopefully it will shrink!:eek:

the civic is already a relatively small car, and you guys feel its big..

I drive a 98' 4 door, if you are low on cash you don't have to lower it, you can do that just by buying the right dampers and coil springs, add some low profile tires and a nice set of wheels and it will look totally different. also you can get a high rise spoiler from jcw compact sport for under $300. once you get the stuff on your mindset about your car will do a 180!

you know i probably shouldent be sharing my idea wit you since i plan on doing it my self. but if you wanna make that 45 door irresistable suicide the rear doors and sit a playstation or what have you in back. down here in louisianna it will run you about 2500.00 to 3200.00

Lay out your plans. Then follow em. Rims, a drop, etc.....

my ideas:
red/clear tails.
springs/shocks, or coilovers/shocks
16"/17" wheels
K&N drop in filter, exhaust.
96+ 4dr's look so CLEAN with red/clears. anything else is vomit in my opinion. :)
