how come peeps with civic lx/dx/ex/si/hx/etc put type R stickers on it?

or dohc vtec on the sides of the door to look like a Si when obviously they arent? is it like an ego booster? i just dont get it... someone help out a dsmer understand

if its ex/hx/lx/dx and has type-R stickers on their car then i dunno. for one Si and GSR are DOHC and are VTEC.... also the ITR's( integra type-r's) So if its not Si,ITR, GSR, LS.OR GS.... ls and gs are non-vtec but still support the DOHC jus doesnt have vtec.... i myself hasnt figured that out unless the have some type of swap in their car so maybe other ppl can help u out. to me it fits hte labe las a "RICER"

hopefully only people with engine swaps do that!
