I heard on the radio that Universal might make a sequel to The Fast and the Furious..."The Fast and the Furious 2"

I liked the movie for the stunts and car action, but the plot was straight outta Point Break, and it wasn't developed very well.....they did leave it open for a sequel, but I think it's folly.....I'll still go see it when it comes out and probably buy the DVD too!!!!:yes:

OK form what i've read on another board they are filiming it in syndney australia and will be using rihgt hand drive vehicles suchs as the previous gen wrx (2 door) and other various cars should be an interesting sequel but i hope the devlop the lot more (yes rice o'plenty)

who cares.... as long as its got rice and speed i'll go see it and buy it.
vin diesel is a definate plus though. he's good in his role in F+F.

that would be nice. prolly it will atract more peeps to mod/rice their cars in cleveland

Also, on some internet site, Ja Rule said that Fast and the Furious is going to be in production and that he will be back as Edwin and will have more of a role in the movie (said this on MTV)...anyone see this on MTV?? i'm in Canada so i get muchmusic....

i also wonder what the storyline will be...

what would be a good storyline for the sequel?....just bored and wanna know your opinion/thought on it....

well from what i heard... ( friend is friends with the guy who does the recuiting for the cars for the film) they have the script ready or almost ready and they are casting cars for the movie... i dont know about where its suppose to be flimed but i asked him if my car could be in like the huge shots where all the cars are in it.. hahahah... oh well.. i guess i can still dream then:crazy:

I heard this some time ago, They are waiting for Vin to get finished making all his movies, since hes so popular now..:rolleyes: ;)

I personally like part 1. Yes, there was mistakes but it is a movie. I hope in part 2 they will have some more domestic vs. import races.
Of course Vin has to return. The ending of part 1 sets up his return. Can't wait for more info about it.

Hey, maybe they'll have SUV's racing down hills and hit the dips at the bottom and catch air!:D

Oh well, Fast and Furious was cool just for the car factor and stuff, but since it's a movie, some parts are a bit unrealistic, but that's Hollywood and it wouldn't make for an interesting movie if they didn't dramatize it.

I like in their street racing scene, everyone was dressed to kill and it was all organized and stuff.

Also, in that movie, every car had NOS and turbo! What's up with that? Not many cars have those cause they aren't cheap! Just makes for a more interesting movie though........I'm willing to bet that NOS helped fund that movie because I think they only said Nitrous once in the whole movie, and all other times made the mistake of calling it NOS.

FYI, I believe it's Van Diesel, not Vin Diesel......I could be wrong though so don't quote me on it:)

My hypothesis on F&F2 plot: the main guy, paul walker knocks up his chick (Dom's lil sis) and he realizes he can't support a family AND his car habit on a cop's salary,so he works as an insider "dirty" cop to give Dom the heads up on lucrative robbery opportunity.
Just for the hell of it they throw in a sky diving scene, to give props to Point Break, the movie whose plot F&F part 1 ripped off of.
Since it's supposedly being filmed in Australia's Outback, they have to race SUV's off road since they aren't cool enough to have rally type car's such as WRX's and stuff.
I still think that Paul Walker's character in part 1 should have been named Johny Utah!
Anyway, I'm sure the part 2 movie will be worth the $8+ to see it in the movie theaters, because of the kick ass stunts and stuff.

Does anyone know if the same director from part 1 will be doing part 2? I actually like his work in other movies such as Skulls and a few other's I can't think of off the top of my head.

i think he got offered to do F&F2...don't know if he accepted tho....cuz the production of the movie is still up in the air....

I had also heard awhile back of a F&F2 as at a show here in MD last yr at MIR(Maryland International Raceway) a Guy got signed for having is ride in F&F 2...

i feel some of you people have seen this movie a few to many times!

I've seen it more than a few times because I'm the only person from my friends who has it, so they always want me to play it so they can see it!

I'll admit though, I've seen it too many times! I also will pop it in to watch the race scenes while I'm eating a snack or something.

DVD rips are good for movies I don't really care about, but for F&F2 I'd actually go out and buy the DVD, just so I have a complete set, providing the movie doesn't totally completely suck ass!:rolleyes:

Well, sometimes you don't get the extras and what not, just the movie itself........not to mention the cool box and booklet that it comes in!:yes:
