how much boost can stock exhaust handle?

hey guys, just wondering how much boost a stock d16 exhaust can handle without loosing hp gains? i plan on boosting my car but low psi around 3-4 for now with stock exhaust, will that be fine?

Should handle 3 or 4 PSI fine as long as everything is properly tuned elsewhere.
