i was able to read the article in the morning so i will sumarize for you, those who did not read it:

LB was auditioning for a new guitarist, so they had an audition at a music shop. ppl were waiting in long ass lines (about 7 hrs or so). They had to sign a contract that the contestants could not play something that was copyrighted, and everything that was played there would become property of LB. Suddenly the contest was called off.

theres a little more to it than that hehe... seems anyone who auditioned had to play something completely original.. AND had to sign away any rights to that material .. meaning... limp bizkit wants the right to steal other hard working musicians music and legaly take credit and money for it and not acknowledge the true origin... wich in turn = limp bizkit are a bunch of losers who cant think of anything on their own and needed to steal 200 other peoples ideas and then in turn screw them up the pooper

and then they were supposed to do some radio promotions and give away a guitar that a lady had driven a loooong ways to get and bring her son to his first concert they screwed alot of people over, buncha losers...

If I remember correctly, Fred Durst was originally a corporate record exec who got into recording. It seems old habits die hard...:rolleyes:

You guys are just now relizing Limp Bizkit sucks? What took you soo long? They are a bunch of SELL-OUTS.

Sell out's. Why does it have to happen to all the good bands??? Same damn thing happened with Green Day, their CD's were awesome till they hit mainstream, then they just sucked.

get the D-12 cd and listen to it...the whole song makes fun of limp bizkit...it is great...

I like Limp Bizkit. Just make ya wanna get up & shout! That's some good heavy metal.

i love greenday, and weezer, but then greenday became mainstream but weezer isnt that much yet, they were like the first kinda punky bands out... i hate listening to mainstream i like listening to music no one ever hears of becuz i have my own thing, and a lot of underground bands are like 1000Xs better then bands that are famous.

Limp Biskit is like Britney Spears of their type of music......

ive been really trying not to post in this thread and let it die again... but (from re-reading the thread) this proves you have no talent, have no respect for your fans, and just need new music ideas to finish off that record deal you sold your soul for. im sorry, but i have 0% respect for LB. their music is too repetative, trys to sell to a market and not be artists to write something origional(even if it sounds like a genre of music make it your own damn sound) and well... my 2 cents

I really can't see how Limp sucks. He's hardcore. Music you can relate to. "It's just one of those day when you wanna break stuff!" Everyone's felt like that on certain days. If I wanted to listen to wussy crap like Weezer I would but I'm a heavy metal man. Harder the better.

But yeah, Eminen's a sell-out.

Last I checked, Limp Bizkit was not a "he". That's where they went wrong. They let Fred Durst take the reigns and run the show. Of course it's music you can relate to...that's the easiest kind to write if all you want is money. It's harder to tell a story or get a little deeper than breaking stuff. And Fred Durst is in no way, shape, or form hardcore. Hardcore would literally rip him in two if it were a person. Weezer might not be heavy but their early stuff was a hell of a lot more creative than ANYTHING that's ever come out of Durst's mouth. I'll be honest...I saw them on tour with Korn before their first album came out and I liked them...but then I turned 16 and realized it was all a bunch of crap. That whole "Nu Metal" scene has become a joke and Limp Bizkit is the punchline.
