Caparo T1
I'm not really sold on the looks, but it's hard to argue with 480hp @ 10,500rpm, 1,000bhp per ton, and 3G lateral capabilities.

is this supposed to be street legal?
Probably not.. But that thing is sick.. Hell, I just wish someone would come out with an affordable, street legal car two seater like the Ariel Atom.
looks like an attempt at making a f1 car street legal.
thats what i thought chris. but i didnt see all the things to make it legal.
Actually, I believe it is supposed to be a street car. Whether or not it's legal in the US is another issue, but I'm sure it'll be legal somewhere. R&T recently did a write up on it. It's designed to "run on the ceiling" at 150mph. I'm not a huge fan of the styling, but the specs are incredible.

US and coo cars hahahahahaha
only if it runs on the devil juice. (e85) |
Yeah, because you can buy E85....oh wait....NOWHERE. I love how it's marketed as an alternative fuel and available virtually nowhere. Here in the entire Kansas City metro area there's like 2 places that sell it.
hahaha, des moines runs on it. every station has that sells diesel. since im in farm country thats every place.
if you truly think e85 is a good alternative. do some research. its all bullshit. |
We have gas stations around here selling e85. It's not abundant, but more and more are popping up. It is all BS.. I got 38mpg (with 87) out of my Del Sol this last tank. I'm happy.
Well it's not really about gas mileage (although I'm sure some assholes think it is). It's about renewable sources of fuel (oil won't be around forever) and cutting back our dependency on foreign sources for said oil. It's probably all bullshit made to distract you from real issues, but it could have some merit. Hell...it's still 15% gas to improve cold start characteristics.
its also worse for the environment. yes im a tree hugger.
