Well I guess it's all over CNN now, but my unit has been extended in Iraq for another 46 days at least, maybe more. At least I'll be able to put down a bigger down payment on a car when I get back heh.

Mechanized Infantry, in the Army's 1st Armored Divison. I'm a rifleman and fill in the sniper role occasionally with my limited training in that.

I watched the first 3 videos on there. The tank was cool. The tank and Bradley together was even better. But when someone cuts loose with what I assume is the SAW or like .50cal machine gun.....:wackit:

There was two machineguns actually heh. A .50 cal to the left of the camera and I was on the M240B to the right of the camera.

Yeah that'll definately mess someone's day up, but after you fire a few rounds out of it it feels like someone kicked you in the back of the head. :fight

Well after this deployment's over I got a couple more months in Germany then it's off to my next unit. I put in for 3rd Infantry Division and if I get it I'll be stationed at Fort Stewart, near Savannah.

Well...really...with a gun like that I'm only planning on one round at a time. :D
