I was in a fire that was over 900 Degrees F today. Holy shit was that hot. ugh. But it was super fun none the less. Coudln't see fuck all.

Oh no doubt about it. It's too bad because we just did a crazy fucking past 2 weeks of huge fires..you coulda came out as a visitor.

It is. Espically when your sweat heats up and gives you steam burns.

I was welding overhead today in a t-shirt. I got more than steam burns. You know that smell of burning hair and flesh?? Yeaaaah, it stinks.

And yeah that would've been cool to see.

This morning was fun. Steam burns on the back of my neck and on a few other guys and one of our instructors has them on his face and melted his visor on his helmet. All becuase we have one super douche in our class.

ahhhh.... Fire Fighting school. I went to at least 5 of those schools during my Naval career. Good stuff. I'm still a qualified Scene Leader and Team Leader.
