Hahahah complete with freon.

Its a cool look, but I imagine that full face deal isn't going to happen soon. Stil have to deal with heat issues.

Should be cool though. I saw an episode of Mail Call about a weapon that's undergoing testing now. It can fire multiple types of rounds, helps determine ranges and a slew of other cool things. Impressive things under development.

Israel has developed a force field for use against ballistic projectiles.

Its not a force field. Its a missle defense system for vehicles called Trophy. It basically detects an incoming threat and then disburses fragments in the direction of the threat. Some might confuse it as being a force field in that it protects the entire vehicle by sensing and reacting to threats. That and the fact that all the news clips show a bubble around it.

Yea I was briefed on it a while back. Force field sounds cooler though.. and you can see that RPGs and TOWs are basically stopped in their tracks.

nifty

Yeah force field sounds much cooler than Trophy.

And this is a great thing to see. RPGs & IEDs are a big threat right now.

Well considering we wear full chem gear in 130 degree temps I don't think that the head gear would be a limiting factor for this suit.. Depends on the function of the head thing.. I mean if it had a targeting HUD or something that would kick ass.

Well yeah there is that. This would likely be a little more comfy. Who knows really. I just hope they come up with something for you guys & gals in the sandbox.

A HUD would be sweet.
