I know you fuckers will flame me to no end since you all worship GC coilovers, but i didn't have that kind of cash and i didn't really want coilovers anyway.

GT40FIED 04-04-2006 05:24 PM

Ummm...I don't worship GC. I worship Maximum Motorsports.:D

AzCivic 04-04-2006 05:27 PM

nice what shocks are you going with?

JDMFantasy2k 04-04-2006 07:55 PM

KYB AGX got em for $300 shipped

not sure about a camber kit yet though...

pdiggitydogg 04-04-2006 08:30 PM

naahhh...i worship h&r :D

JDMFantasy2k 04-04-2006 09:48 PM

well i heard good things bout these, basically stock ride quality plus a little, and a good drop. I did want stiff stuff but in reality this is my daily driver and putting on 100 miles a day over shit-infested roads would mean i'd have to hire a full time chiropractor. Plus i wanna get a dampanchi doll and seat belt him in the back :flick:

mad tyte jdm partz yo

sicones 04-05-2006 10:30 AM

I hope yours aren’t fake....

ebpda9 04-05-2006 01:07 PM

ehh i am not too crazy about them. they get too harsh on the rough roads.

ebpda9 04-05-2006 01:15 PM

and i got the camber kit for you:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMESE%3AIT i want 155 shipped for it.

sicones 04-05-2006 01:17 PM

they can't be that harsh they have softer spring rates, dont drive on tein ss's then

thermal 04-05-2006 10:21 PM

I'm just glad you are finally giving that civic a drop. Those S-tech's are not that bad bro. I just installed a set on an RSX-S. I like the way it rides.

JDMFantasy2k 04-06-2006 04:03 PM

yeah seems they have a love/hate reputation.

stefan the camber kit you posted is nice and all, but it's only the front

AzCivic 04-06-2006 06:22 PM

how much of a drop do they give? I'd go with out a camber kit first and see if there's a problem. Had my civic dropped about 2 1/4" and had no weird tire wear.

Had Agx's too, they were nice.

JDMFantasy2k 04-06-2006 06:53 PM

hmm, interesting....

well i'm basically concerened for the front, cause those kits are most expensive. the for the back i was just gonna say fuck it and just shim it. I'm still on the fence. Cause i don't wanna get 400 worth of tires and then all of a sudden discover my tire wear is going to shit, and have to install a camber kit, when i could just do it when i have everything apart.

any opinions on this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OMNI-...6 62361QQrdZ1

free shipping + free shim kit, all for the MSRP of the front kit.... plus the place seems good (famous last words)

IALuder 04-06-2006 07:22 PM

omni is susposed to be pretty damn good. so i would try those.

JDMFantasy2k 04-06-2006 07:32 PM

yeah omni from what i understand some people have a love/hate relationship with omni power as well....

I personally like the look of their products (most of which replicate expensive name brand parts) and they have very aggressive pricing (in reguards to the camber kit and their coil overs)

However i've never tried any of their products, so maybe i should be the guinea pig...

MissJDM 04-07-2006 11:43 PM

Tein - S is nice. Got a buddy with 'em and I think the only reason I'm not thinking they're great is because he's a shitty driver and gave me a bad impression.

Happy for ya though, buying goodies is always a good feeling! :)

JDMFantasy2k 04-08-2006 09:19 AM

yeah i've decided to go without the camber kit for now. If shit goes south i'll throw one in, otherwise i'm probably just going to wait till summer to get one.

here's some pics of a civic Si on clubek.net that just had s-tech's and agx's
