It's fucked up how you hang out with someone and then years later you find out they did something big with their life. Like when you're 14 you can't possibly imagine that some little quiet kid you're smoking pot and skating with will grow up to do this:

Yes...yes he is. Somebody told me about him not too long ago and I figured it was just a local thing, but apparently he's touring all over the country.

Yea I have a friend like that.. met him last summer, said he did DJing.. never really thought anything of it but I guess he's got a record deal and a CD coming out or something..

That's kind of cool actually. Good to hear success stories.

Haha...yeah. I know enough fuck ups. There are at least 3 of my high school classmates (that I know of) serving life, so every now and then I like hearing the good stories.

Yeah man. I know a guy who's in jail for beating a guy over the head and killing him with a baseball bat. What ever happened to having goals and doing something good with your life.

I actually found out recently this spoiled hippy bastard I went to H.S. with runs a recording studio... I mean it's indy and what not but I THINK it's selfsustaining at this point... after YEARS of getting money dumped at him from his father..

Another whole group of kids I know got jobs with one of the MAJOR labels and make great money and work in the city... we all went to H.S. with his son and he hooked tons of kids up with jobs.

My town's kinda weird though it was like uber white upper class people so almost everyone I know is making tons of money now...

I'd say prob. 60pct if not more of my graduating class makes over 100k.

A lot of the 'cool' 'rich' kids are loser druggies and do nothing with their lives. But are still richer then I am:(
