is it just me..

or is curling actually pretty entertaining. ive caught myself watching both the womens and mens curling, and although the womens was better, just cause of the 2 hot sisters on team USA, the sport(if thats what it is) has intreged me

IALuder 02-15-2006 05:58 PM

i would watch if i knew the rules.

ChrisCantSkate 02-15-2006 06:02 PM

they take turns throing "stones" or "rocks" down an ice shoot, each getting 10(i think) throws per "end" kinda like a round. they play 10 ends and who ever has more stones closer than their opponents closest stone gets that many points... i think. im still learning.. the brooms they use help smooth and clean the ice to "curl" the stone, or give it an arc kinda curve to it and speed up and slow down how fast it goes... i dunno. i picked up what i know over the last 24-28 hrs

IALuder 02-15-2006 06:18 PM

yea i googled the rules. seems interesting. im watchin it now to see if what i read is right.:D

I caught some of it before I went to bed this morning. I just don't think it's a sport. It's just lawn bowling on ice.

IALuder 02-15-2006 06:36 PM

damn, the curling chicks are making a fhm calinder.

ebpda9 02-15-2006 06:58 PM

sounds like golf on ice, or hockey without the team

KwikR6 02-15-2006 09:29 PM

Curling is fun. If you ever come up here. We'll curl haha

Not even the snowboarding.

KwikR6 02-17-2006 10:28 AM

I haven't stopped watching the olympics. I love watching them. I'm watching the Womens Hockey. USA vs SWEEDEN. Your women are fucking fast and pretty good. Should be a good USA/CANADA final
