CT is BURIED in snow...

Yo there is straight up 18-24" out there right now... it's sick..

I just went sledding with my kid for a bit and I couldn't even get down the hill till I packed it down like 3 times... it's DEEP.

Roads are all plowed and everything is working... so it's just a LOT of snow...

People were FREAKING OUT... I live across from a grocery store and I drove by it at like 10am yesterday and it was PACKED with cars and this isn't some small parking lot... it's like a home depot size lot... probobly spots for 5-600 cars if not more.

Came back by at 3 it was STILL packed ... went shopping at like 5 and it was STILL packed...

The store obviously anticipated it cuz they were loading the shelves as people were emptiing them.

People are nuts too... you see people buying like 5 gals of milk and like 8 loafs of bread... do they seriously think they're going to get stuck ANYWHERE in fairfield county for more than a day... Most of these R-tards drive hummers and freaking yukons to boot.

where do you live

I wish we would have gotten some snow. I want to get the Raptor out to play in it. The little snow that we did get melted in before 10:00 this morning.

I love giant snow storms....but only to see people panicing (other than that, F snow)
Its like "OMG the snow is over 12"?? It must be the end of the world!
Seriously, people need to calm down... Best way to spend a day stuck inside is slightly tipsy and playing video games

It flurried down here in Alabama as I was sipping on the last of my 24 beers and watching the sun rise with an ex... what a night. ;)

anyways, sucks for for the snow.. we've only seen about 3" this entire year and it melts all the time. we're having a great winter so far, i'm loving it!!

IALuder 02-12-2006 06:04 PM

ChrisCantSkate 02-13-2006 01:20 AM

ChrisCantSkate 02-14-2006 01:02 PM

we actually frosted last night... i broke out the thermals to get me through the day today... 50's and breezy... buuuurrrr :D :D

We ended up getting about 18-24" where I am in Stamford CT... it's right near NY... like 10mins from the border.

The legacy is a BLAST to drive in the snow... it handles great and doesn't get stuck anywhere... only complaint is either the tires or the ABS system blows ass...

I took my son out sledding but he called it quits after a frew trips down the hill... he's been sick and he was getting cold so I just went in...

It's GREAT snow too... I wish I had my snowboard here or that there were any mountains around that got some of this... it's like airy light powder.. which is my favorite for riding.

I almost did rope tow with the subaru but I didn't have the time to do it... probobly won't before the snows gone.

Thermals in the 50's! You whimp..:D I don't break out the thermals here until it's in the teens.

haha in my defence it was 35 when i woke up and i only wore the pants. but yes, we are wimps in florida when it comes to cold. a month ago i'd be wearing a shirt in this weather cause i was usta it from my vacation to colorodo(5-10 degrees up on the slopes every day), but no that wore off fast and i got my thick blood back

Flurries in Va Beach. Cold as fuk tho.

nonovurbizniz 02-16-2006 10:54 PM

Man now we've got a "heat" wave... it's been over 40 for the past 3 days and almost ALL the snow is gone...

We went from having near 2ft of snow EVERYWHERE to damn near nothing in 3-4 days.

ebpda9 02-17-2006 07:28 AM

and prolly end up with another 1 ft of snoow this weekend.

GT40FIED 02-17-2006 08:06 AM

It's balls cold here now. A couple days ago it was literally 70 degrees and now it's into the teens at night. Normally I wouldn't complain...I'm used to midwest weather...but the fucking wind is killing me. The windchill has to be close to zero. That...and I'm just getting over a minor cold. Not a good combo.

I know what you mean. I'm just giving you a hard time. I grew up in Tampa, I miss wearing shorts during the middle of the winter. :D
