Car stereo buffs, please read.....

I just installed a system into my 2000 accord sedan and the trunk vibrates too much. I put in a 500w Performance Technique amplifier, connected directly to two 12'' Kenwood subwoofers. I've taken my trunk apart looking for whats vibrating. After hours I fixed vibrating between two rods that control the trunk's door. The next major source of vibration is outside, above the license plate. I have no idea how to sound-proof it. Does anybody know either how to fix the vibes myself, or of a place that will do it without sacrifing an arm and leg. Thanks stereo buffs:mad:

dynamat works good. but im sure the stereo gods can tell you something that works just as good and is cheaper.

my license plate rattled in my hatch so i put two sponges behind it and problem solved. cant beat that

Its called brownbread.. It works as well as dynamat for a fraction fo the price....

Or you could also spray your vibrating pannels with asphalt bassed undercoating material or bedliner.. Look for the stuff that contains silicone.

Its very possible that the pannel itself vibrates.. When I bump moderately hard, the sides of my trunk expand..
Scary as hell..
When I'm playing a bass cd.. Its the apocalypse.. :o

Anyways the idea is to add weight (mass) to the pannel.
