I have 2 days left on my practicum for my paramedic. And I think I got a job when I'm done. They talked about it with me. And I did my interview today and did a couple of senairos with the management of the ambulance company that I will be working for. The owner said he was really impressed and so did the other managers. If I get the job. I will be stationed one week in. One week out. It's about 4 hours away from my house. It's for 7 days 24 hours a day. Then I come home. And usually get 7 days off but I can choose to work a day or two if I want to for extra cash. Tomorrow I will find out 100% if I get the job. I'm excited. because the money is good, and I'll be able to start doing up the EG and start being able to save for my new bike!!!!! So that's what new with me! I'm super excited.

Damn dude...7 on/7 off? That's nuts. My brother does 24 on/48 off. Then again he works for the KCFD so he has to live in the county where he works...no 4 hour drives. But hey...4 hours once a week...I guess that's not so bad.

Yeah...it works out to him working like 10 days a month. He already makes more than my mom who's been a nurse for close to 30 years (and she's a CCRN, among other things). He had enough free time off that he moonlighted at an oral surgeon's office doing anesthesia and OR prep and made $16/hr at his side job. I never could figure out why the fucker always acts like he's broke. Maybe if he'd stop getting married to every girl he dates...

Pretty awesome man. Some of the paramedics I know here do 7on/7off also.
Personally, I think it would be a lot to handle, but 7 days off sounds really nice :)

good luck man, you're crazy with having peoples live's in your hands. I couldn't do it.. but then again I don't care for helping people haha (sounds rude, but its true)

anyways, are you going to sell the R6!?!?!?

Yeah the R6 is probabaly going to go...either for a new 2006 R6 or GSXR 750?
