Newbies Forum

I think we should have a newbies forum, where people new to this forum or cars could ask simple questions without getting flamed. Example "What's fi?"
was a question asked in High Performance. It got an answer and didn't get flamed good, but it's too simple of a question to be in that forum. Let's leave that forum strictly to "tough" questions lol (I'm in a loss of words right now, just woke up!)

Anyways you get my idea, what do you think?

Its not a bad idea.. Maybe we could just make a sticky in the new kids on the block forum.?.?. Just try to put something together FAQ sticky for newbies or beginning tuners...

A FAQ is a good idea, but not a newbie forum. You don't want to intimidate people into not posting in the normal forum, and advanced people wouldn't want to answer too many questions in the newbie forum. A FAQ... maybe, but I say no new forum.

What about a sub forum in the off topic forum?

I still say just a FAQ will do.. we have the New kids on the Block forums, its kinda the same thing.. just a different name..

Ok then why not just us that forum. The way you made it is it's only for introductions. Add a little more subtext so that new people know that's where they ask simple newbie questions!

Its ok how it is.. Lets start a thread somewhere to put a FAQ together and we'll go from there..

Ok that's cool I guess...but which forum(s) do we put it in?
