nextel users?
 

my cingular plan is up in a month and a half, and im not gonna re-new it i dont think. im really interested in a nextel phone, what do your plans run? service and time and cost etc. anything good or bad about the service.

i dunno dude, i have Alltel. maybe you did not even hear about them unless u are in OH or FLA and some parts of cali. Here in OH the best plans around are from cingular and verizon. all other suck ass. Ohh i forgoat to mentioin about northcoast pcs but their coverage sucks. Why don't you visit their website and see wassup.

My fiancee's dad has Nextels for his business, its pretty kickass if there are other peeps you know with nextels.. But as far as plans and suck I cant help you really.. Have you checked their website?

Their pricing is expensive(of course I can get it for $10 a month for 1000 minutes). Unless you know someone with a Nextel phone to talk to, its not worth it. The coverage here isn't that great. The calls don't fade, they drop.

Guys, that seems pretty expensive overall.

I'm using Cellular One (also expensive), and I get

3000 weekend minutes
900 anytime minutes
call waiting, caller id, text messaging... all the bells and whistles

For around 50/month.

Yeah I'll admit Nextel is kinda expensive.. the absolute best plan they have runs you about 119 a month. YIKES!!

No its all go0d. But all the people on here I'm surprised no one has Nextels.. I mean they were in the Fast and the Furious. I thought everyone was gonna rush out to get them.
