i wouldnt know but when i get onld enough i would like to know what to get so post em' up |
intake,exhaust
|
Well, I don't have a civic, and I haven't done this... but if you're going for straight power gains, I'd say $1000 towards a turbo would be the best way to go. Of course other things need to be done also, such as exhaust, suspension, etc.

exhaust is my favorite so far
|
id say either exhaust, or my wheels
|
Keep on saving and do what 94_ACCord said.

Yeah, I'll have to agree with that. Go turbo. But you'd need more than $1000. |
a good set of coilovers......a good suspension is the first step to peformance mods
|
I agree with Hybrid... Get some good suspension with that $1000 first. Make the car handle nice.. You could get Koni Yellows, Some good drop springs, sturt bars and swaybars your car will the the shiz at handling..
Then later make it fast.. A fast car that wont handle is useless..;) |
Nitrous, AEM Cold Air, & Exhaust.....(had this on my 98 EX)
Yes you can squeeze that into $1000 |
I'd upgrade my suspension too with koni yellows and ground control coilovers.Or buy my b20 longblock amd watch it sit there while I wait for money for a tranny and ecu. I dunno.
