Well...that was inappropriate. Look...you're going to have tro be more specific. We can't read your mind. After all of 20 seconds on google, it looks like you'll have to fashion your own kit since all the kits I saw were for '92-up cars. It's nothing terribly difficult...I did it on my Mustang. Basically you'll need to pick a turbo, a proper turbo header (which may be a challenge), all associated tubing (any shop that does mandrel bending can do this), a blow-off valve, a FMU, and a few odds and ends to piece it together. Aren't '91 Preludes the more boxy, more Accord-looking ones? If so, a turbo may just not be feasable. Some cars just aren't meant to be turbo'ed. There'll probably be fitment issues, space issues, not to mention aftermarket parts availability problems. But seriously...it took me all of 30 seconds to figure out that it sure doesn't look like you're going to have it easy throwing this together. Had you taken that into consideration rather than posting a poorly worded 1 sentence question you probably would've gotten responses more to your liking. We're not fucks...we just haven't a clue what you're looking for. Side note: I actually thought Will was pretty damn polite with his answer. Good lookin' out Will. |

I have no idea what you just said, but if you've got an SVO motor (or similar turbo 2.3L Ford), you're good to go. Those things can make great power for little money. |
I can't but into a prelude have look at motor to big will not go in
would you like anything I sold the turbo for $150. what does the greddy blue boxs do and can I make it work for me |
I could barely understand you. I do not recall any kits made for that generation of motor. However anything is possible with a custom kit. I'm not even sure if you have an F-series motor. If you do, with a slight modification of a DSM eclipse/talon turbo header, you can produce a manifold from it. Then pick the right of your choice. We have no clue on how far or how much power you want to achieve. Furthermore, will this be installed on a built motor?
Greddy blue boxes will not work for our car. 91 is still OBD-0. GReddy blue boxes are for OBD-1 but can be converted to OBD-2 only............. |
I have b21a1 motor and dsm 2.0 motor sitting in my shop that is turbo can i use the manifold off it I would like to get about 180whp to 168whp it would be good for me
|
depending on howmuch you want to spend, you might want to look into buying a b20 or a b18a since its a newer, obd1, and a stronger motor even though its smaller. and they both will hold boost better than the b21.
|
which b20 and where can iget the b18a motor kits cause I have been looking for more things to do.
|
|
the last time I looked at hasport they did have any motor kits but I will look at that agin thinks you for help me
