CD burning program
Im tired of burning cd's that have no titles on them. I edit their tags, I make direct copies, I think Ive done it all...and still I end up with cd's that have no track titles.
Im mostly using the now ancient cd creator 5 and even damn windows media player/burner. What is a good burning program that I can use? If I can get one that makes standard cd's and data cd's, I'll be as happy as a pig in shit. (No nero) |
i use nero and i like it. anyway in order to burn text to cds your cdrw has to support cd text. there are some that do not support it.

Eac can burn cds, unfortunatly it requires some screwing around to get it to work right. Its unmatched for ripping, though.
search for eac in google. it stands for exact audio copy. |
No Nero?

I used it once and just didnt like it...plus I want to see what else people use, just because
|
I usually use shitty Roxio stuff simply because it came with my DVD burner. Otherwise I'd just use the WMP stuff.
|
Roxio is basically integrated into WinXP as the native cd burning function. And WMP can blow me.
Nero is still my primary burning program. I use it for audio and video, and it excels in both. as far as your tags go, your burner and player must both support cd text. And you have to make sure your ID3 tags are set right in the first place. Read your documentation on your stereo to determine what ID3 tag it looks for. You can set that stuff in Nero, under edit, properties. I can't remember if CDex burns cds, but I used to use that long ago, before i knew about eac. It was very decent. |
Yeah, all my stuff reads/writes tags...I just cant get it to work.
Eh screw it...I dont care anymore :paranoid: |
