unfortunately i don't know of a way to have them as a desktop background.

There's a bunch of programs that'll convert *.swf files to screensavers or desktops. I've never used them personally, but they're there. Just google "swf screen saver" or "swf desktop". Should come back with a bunch of results.

ehh i found an easier way ;)

just create a new tex file and save it with the htm extension, open the file and put this stuff in it:
Code:

< embed width="1000" height="700" src="http://t2.technion.ac.il/~snoom/hand.swf" border="1">

and save it, then open your display properties and enable web content on your desktop. then just maximize the window

woot thanks

ebpda9 05-03-2005 01:29 AM

just don't put spaces between the < and the html tag. also you need to use the html and body tags

and steve those swf's are using system variables, which i am sure they can't be interpreted by the conversion program

jeez stefan beat me to the problem solving. i did it last night but didnt post it.

the hand one is still sorta hard. it doesnt fit on my screen do to resolution.
