^yea. if thats what its hitting it shouldnt be hard to take it out. if that doesnt work, get a manual from library or something and it should say how to replace it.

I have a chiltons and it dosn't say any thing about having to take any thing more off than I already have. the real problem is that the shaft that connects to the steering column keeps getting stuck. if I could flip the whole thing over then it would come right out

reove the inner tierods too. they help a lot.

NATman 04-25-2005 01:34 PM

thanks were working on it right now and if we cant just pull it were already thinking about taking off the cat I'll tell you if any of this works for us

ebpda9 04-25-2005 11:03 PM

don't tell me you attempted to take it off with the A pipe and the cat on ?

ShEaNy 04-26-2005 01:01 PM

LOL...i shoulda mentioned that HAS to be at least loosened or taking right off alltogether...

NATman 04-26-2005 09:10 PM

so we got it off but we had to compleatly remove the cat and the shift linkage inorder to pull it far enough now we just need to get the tie rods on and replace the front turn signals and my car will be street legal again

ShEaNy 04-26-2005 09:14 PM

good good...just be careful putting it in...pinched my finger a few times lol ur going to neen an alignment now?

NATman 04-29-2005 01:05 PM

ShEaNy 04-29-2005 01:15 PM

NATman 04-29-2005 03:18 PM

i also got new yokohama AVIA HS4S tires mounted on my 17" tenzo sinco R rims. much better grip and handelling than before over all the swap was not that bad just have to make sure that you can apply enough force to bolt down the tie rods
