explain this (math)
Im probably missing something really obvious, but Ive been doing this crap since about 4, and Im tired....so cut me some slack if it is.
Explain to me how: (2 +- {Square root}-44) / 6 Becomes: 1 / 3 +- (i {Square root}11) / 3 The 1/3 I get...no brainer. I get complex numbers. But how in the fuck does root 44 become root 11 |
squareroot(-4)=i/3
thats all that makes sense... |
but root -4 is 2i
|
:o
|
duh
half of root 44 is root 11 (which is 3.xxxx) |
Yeah
Square root of -44 = square root of (-1 * 4 * 11) = 2i square root of 11 ;) It's always easier to simplify it to read that like |
I really need to go back to school. I used to be awsome on shit like this....
