What they are saying is that if you see someone stopped at an intersection you can't tell if they are stopped, causing you to slam on your breaks and someone rear ending you..

This is the STUPIDEST thing I've ever heard.. You should have full control of your vehicle at all times, if you panic and lock your brakes up it is noones fault but your own.. Same goes for animals, etc. "I saw a dog on the side of the road, I couldn't tell if it would run into the road or not so I locked my brakes up..." BULLSHIT! Some people just shouldn't drive.:no:

Maybe they figured that people would discover on their own that spinners are the GAYEST thing ever, but decided to help them figure it out instead and outlaw them... But I also think that a triple decker wing 6' wide on a FWD car should be outlawed too..

I'm actually with Mike here (except the FWD thing...I don't really care about that:D). Not only are those things the dumbest, most tacky bullshit ever, they could present a problem. Not to your everyday motorist, but what about law enforcement? They get pretty pissed if you don't stop your car immediately. If it looks like your car is still going, you're in deep shit. Besides, the law specifically prohibits them on highways. It doesn't say anything about regular streets.

Regardless of whether they are stupid or not, I can respect them wanting to ban them for good reasons... However, the stuff they had quoted were complete Bullshit excuses.
