Wheels

Hey guys, I have a red 96 Integra LS. I was wondering what kind of wheels would give it a really good look. I've been undecisive about it so I thought you guys can give me your opinions. It's best if you guys got pix of the wheels on the car and give the company that makes the wheel.

sicones 12-10-2004 08:20 AM

what color is your car

pdiggitydogg 12-10-2004 10:33 AM

I personally like the stock mesh ones a lot

MissJDM 12-10-2004 03:41 PM

I like powder coated fat fives, looks dandy. You can find it on eBay under "Gsr Wheels"

MissJDM 12-10-2004 03:42 PM

wait wait, black / gunmetal te37s are the hotness.

if you wanna go baller on a budget, I think the 94-95 GSR rims in black will look good, minus the center caps.

Mischief 12-10-2004 04:48 PM

i like the stock gs rims i have on my car, clean looking and not flashy

dabouncerx24 12-10-2004 05:17 PM

I really don't like any of the stock Integra wheels, the blades and the fat fives just don't appeal to me at all. My friend has a white Integra with the 99 SI wheels on them, looks good but I'm not sure how they'll do with a red car. I was thinking along the lines of those Enkei anthracite wheels (the black ones with the silver edges).

thermal 12-11-2004 04:28 PM

ShEaNy 12-11-2004 04:29 PM

Well, I CAAAAAN tell you, but because I'm not of male gender, I can admit that I DO like that picture. Come to think of it, I noticed that I don't like many rims left in that stock image. I like a lot of the black/gunmetal ones. Odd, so, Yes, Pat, they DO look pretty nice, but I think the fat fives look nice too.

Hm, know all those common wheels, fat Fives, Swirlies, the other 94-95 GSR "Star" ones, and the Si wheels..they all look better when they're black or gun metal.

yay? nay?

AzCivic 12-11-2004 11:58 PM

it looks good to me, but i'm a sucker for polished lips

dabouncerx24 12-31-2004 04:56 PM

Should I go 16 or 17 on my wheels? I've decided on the Enkei RSF-2.

MissJDM 12-31-2004 10:15 PM

If you're gonna keep it showish, I say 17. If you want something mellow and simple, 16. I always go with 15s for the more race look and I have only put my 17s on for a wedding I attended. heh.

dabouncerx24 12-31-2004 10:25 PM

^ :)

I've decided on the 16s..cheaper

Can you guys help me? I don't know which tire size to get for the 16s. The online store I'm buying from offers a set of 205/50R16....whatever the hell that means. I'm scared of getting tires as thick as those drag tires  . Help

sicones 01-03-2005 08:02 AM

16 is suposted to have 205/45/16 on a civic

dabouncerx24 01-03-2005 08:49 AM

Ok....but what exactly does the last "45" in the middle represent? I have a Teg btw...

pdiggitydogg 01-03-2005 10:49 AM

the middle # is a % of the tread width
= sidewall height

dabouncerx24 01-03-2005 04:47 PM

In millimeters?

that sounds about right. 205's shouldn't rub on any honda with a wheel that has +42mm offset. you will run into problems going to 215's tho

dabouncerx24 01-04-2005 10:33 PM

No thx :paranoid:

How much did your supercharger cost?

C's 94 InTeGrA 01-04-2005 11:57 PM

$2800 shipped

thermal 01-05-2005 02:00 AM

black/gunmetal/charcoal looks great on red cars i think. same with bronze and gold. My teg is green with Rota slipstream:

I actually want another set. Those rims are now on my civic. I want something not common. Too many people roll around with that set. I might go with something along the lines of Buddy Club P1 or TR Work. Dont know yet. Gotta finish the turbo first......

How many inches are those Rotas man?

What do you guys think about this baby on my red Teg?

The pic is not really clear...but its a 6-spoke Enkei wheel with a polished lip (Enkei calls it anthracite).

thermal 01-07-2005 11:46 PM

I like those Enkeis man. I think that it will look kick ass on a Teg.... I really think so. What offset is it?

BTW, mine are 16's

dabouncerx24 01-09-2005 12:20 PM

For 4-lug it's 42, for 5-lug it's 38.

Did you just upgrade your turbo kit for your Civic?

No. My D-series motor is blown.

42mm offset is perfect...

dabouncerx24 01-09-2005 03:44 PM

Oh ok, cuz before I thought I saw 9psi in your signature banner, not it's 10.

thermal 01-09-2005 05:11 PM

That was my Teg bro.... my civic has always been 10psi:cool:

dabouncerx24 01-09-2005 08:55 PM

Oh, alright.

Is 800$ a good price for a set of those black Enkei's with tires mounted and free shipping?

thermal 01-09-2005 09:12 PM

for 16's yes..... i would think so...
