Sometimes new breaks squeak. It happenes. My buddies 2004 breaks squeak.
|
Yea I know that sometimes they do until they get "broke in" but this was like 4 days ago and about 200 miles so I figured that they would have already been broke in...I get to change the rears now. Fucking money pit!!

Yea I am pretty sure I did. It was like 110 degrees when I was doing it down here so I was in a little bit of a hurry to get them done. Then that fucking metal pad to is on them fell off and I couldnt find the mother fuckers until I re-mounted the tires and moved my car! |
may i ask how you seated them?
|
w/o those metal pads the brakes will squeek...
Take them apart and put the metal shims in properly using antisqueek componound on all mating surfaces of the metal shims and the pad. They shouldn't squeek after that. |
