Removing Civic Dash
OK so I am trying to change my gauges, I removed the 2 screws on the top of the dashboard and I got the left side to pop out, altho this little black plastic snap cracked off.. but I can't get the right side where the vents, the clock and the emergency light button to pop out. Someone please help me.

NO i will not help!!! actually i have no clue how to help you but hope ya get it man!!!!

You need to wiggle it a lot. It's hard the first time getting it out. You might actually need to pop the inside back in. Then put your hands in the middle of it- thumbs underneath and other four fingers on the side facing up. Then wiggle and pull at the same time. I did that with mine- it took a while, but it came off unbroken.

don't civics have screws hidden by the side vents ? After i took the cd player out and the screws mine came off easy, with no problems.
FMR: When did u get your car back ? How nice of a job was done to it ? |
I got it out and I broke the screw which is actually behind the emergency signal button.. took me 2.5 hours to change my gauges.. lol now what about doing fog lights? Do I cut those plastic slits out of the lip? Thats the only way the lights will fit

I mounted my foglights in the opening in the bumper I didnt have to cut anything just screwed the brackets in.. What type of foglights did you get? |
I got these little baby blue ones.. I ended up not cutting anything.. I took the front bumper off and screwed them on. But now I can't get the on/off switch through the firewall. I'm very

In my car looking into the engine bay on the left hand side there is a black rubber plug I pulled the plug out cut a hole in it and ran the wires through that way, your civic may be different tho. |
