sorry, i know they help pay for the site and all, but they are annoying, it almost made me turn away from here when i first came here, a banner would be nicer than a popup window IMO

yeah I definatly agree with that. I hate popups, they take more time to close then it takes to read what you want:(

Maybe we should all sign a petition and give it to the administrators. I think everyone agrees the pop ups are annoying.

Okay okay... I turned off the pop-ups. :o
If I missed any, let me know who the advertiser is and I'll turn it off.

did the pop ups stop or what. I still got one today. I hate those damn things.

I de-selected all the advertisers that had pop-up ads... I got a couple today as well. I went back and re-checked, but everything looks good. I am thinking that maybe it will go into effect tomorrow when the adsite updates (but I could be wrong).

I'll keep trying ;)

FYI:
This morning when I went into it I got the colonize.com popup.
Then when I got into the forum I got a grouplotto scratch card..

When I first got on HondaStyle today at around 2:35, the Colonized pop up came up.

Dang...now I'm double annoyed. Not only do I have to view them but I can't figure out how to turn the stupid things off.

i wont add to the confuson then if you know they are still coming up.

I haven't had an annoying popup in a day and a half. The last one I experience was yesterday at 2:35 in the afternoon. I think the problem is fixed. Yeah

I'm gettin them damn pop ups again. Getsmart Visa- every time I go to my CP. Please turn it off, or I will hunt you down and kill you.

I recieved 2 nice pop ups today. It was at 2:30 in the afternoon. Just wanted to give you the heads up.

Okay, I found the Ms Cleo culprit and promptly turned it off. You see, what happens is that the ad service will ad a new advertiser to the rotation and I don't necessarily know it... that's how the pop-ups keep sneaking in.

I just hit refresh like 30 times and I didn't see any pop-ups... But I can rest assured someone will let me know if any are still there ;) heh heh...

Okay..found it - was a little tricky as it wasn't listed as "Providian". But..to make you all happy, I painstakingly went through each and every listed advertiser until I found it.

I need to take a break now... lol...

im getting some casino one and some other one, i dont even let them load before i shut them down. its like a damn pop-up virus they just wont go away
