The 2002 ACCORD
 
For 2002 the accord lineup will feature 2 new models that will account for for about 25% of the Accord sales.

Accord SE:

The SE will be based on the 4-Cylinder LX trim with automatic transmission and will be available on the sedan and coupe models.
  • Special 15" alloy wheels replace the wheel covers
  • Moonroof
  • Keyless entry
  • Security System
  • A 3 in 1 stereo system with AM/FM cassete and CD-player
  • Wood interior on 4WD models (silver accents on 2WD)
  • Driver seat height power adjustaments
  • Floor mats
  • Sedans available in: Satin Silver, Nightwalk Black and Firepepper Red
  • Coupes available in Nightwalk Black and tafetta white

Accord Value Package
The Value package will be based on the DX sedan with auto transmission.
  • AC
  • 3 in 1 AM/FM Stereo with casette player and and CD player
  • 6 Speakers (from 2)
  • Wood interior trim
  • Floor mats
  • Body colored door handles and moldings
  • Exclusive wheel covers
  • Chrome window trim
  • Available in Satin Silver and Eternal Blue

All 202 Accords sold nationwide meet or exceed Cali's Low Emissions Vehicle standard. One model, sold exclusively in Cali meets the SULEV standard the most stringent in the world.

The DX Sedan engine produces 135hp

The LX/EX Accords feature a 2.3l engine, 16valve, 4 cylinder VTEC that produces 150Hp and 152ft/lb of torque.

All V6 Accords feature 3.0L VTEC delivering 200HP and 196 ft/lb of torque.

I would be shocked to see a 4 wheel drive accord.

I think it's much more likely that 4wd, is actually an odd acronym for 4 door...maybe it's just 4d...and the 2d or coupe, has the silver accents.

Just a thought...

i know it'sa odd and that is why this morning i'm going to go visit my honda dealer for some special editions. I know there is a JDM 4WD accord, but it's a wagon only.

That's strange about the 4WD thing. BTW, aren't the 02's already out? Are you talking about 2003 models?

nope i'm talking about the 2002. i told you i have the press release thing from detroit and it says 2002 on th sheet. They emphasized on the VP and SE models which i never seen so far.

p.s. how does it feel with 2 decals ?

Picked it up last november.... already have 4500 miles on it....

The only 4wd accord for 2002 is the happy family wagon.
