i need help fast. my car is overheating. ive checked the fluid levels, they are fine. but i also noticed that if i use the button for the sunroof that the temp rises untill i release the button. also the car has a sudden jump in power when i drive (i think that is due to the clutch, because it is almost shot. i just have to wait till the first of october and i can get a different car (again i know but finnaly one that didn't involve an accident) i was thinking about getting a gsr, and say screw they hike in insurance i can pay for it no propblem, but back to the problem at hand help!!!!!!!

could it be just a short ?

i dont know if a short would cause my car to over heat, it is over heating i know much for.

change the thermostat and flush the system to make sure there's no air in it.

in the mean time if it gets bad turn the heater on.

well i changed the thermo stat, and while i was up to it i changed my oil, and guess what i saw in there, OUR GOOD OLE FRIEND MISTER WATER< AND GUESS WHAT HE IS GOING TO DIEEEEE!!!! sorry, this really sucks, as soon i role over 200,000 miles, the head gasket decides"hey im old, i think i will die now" and to top all things off i dont have a job, nore do i have means of finding a job!!!!! this really sucks
