resonator
whats the difference between dual and single? is there an advangte to one or the other? is there a huge gain difference?
i got dual on my Evo 2. i was curios to if it was a good thing. |
I didnt know there was a different kind. I thought a resonator was a resonator.
|
dual, as in two seperate resonators?
|
Yeah, dual resonators I think means that they add one more in line, right?
Quieter, less performance probably. |
Yeah...it'll probably sound a little better, but as 94 said it's probably a bit quieter with a little less performance. Just about all V6s will sound like crap without at least 1 resonator. I'd rather use 2 and lose a horsepower or two than use 1 and have it sound worse.
|
well im glad i got 2. i dont like loud exhuasts. ones that can shadder class anyways.
|
oh...gotcha
Im concidering 2 resonators on my next exhaust setup (custom of course) |
^ you might be happier with 2.
|
what's a resonator?..... lol... j/k....
|
i was to ask how can you install your own turbo and not know what a resonator is....

LMAO I dont think he knows he just didnt want to sound like an idiot and be the first to ask this question:yes: ;) ;) |
2 resonators is good... but not really neccisary.. as far as performance... the really don't impact much... they're ALL straight through. so it's not like they creat a blockage...
I have one resonator and the biggest muffler I could get from magnaflow and it's sounds nice and deep... but It could use another resonator or a cat... it's still a little too loud... |
