Somebody broke into my car last night.

I think they used a jimmy or something. No signs of damage to the door locks, no broken windows. everything is cool. The strange part about it is that whoever broke in did not touch the cd-player, or anything that was a real value in there. All they took were the 2 jacks, my tower braces wich were for sale and the spare wheel. I think the value of what they took is $100 or less. Just venting.

Whtehnda93DXSdn 01-09-2002 09:03 AM

Damn that is crazy..sorry to hear about the break in..

Did you contact the Police to see if therer may be fingerprints?
At least they didn't take anything of Major value...

ebpda9 01-09-2002 09:05 AM

no. no police yet. i don't know if i'm gonna contact them. they are a pain in the butt here and good domestic lovers, and import haters, so i don't wanna hear something like: "they did a good thing, we don't like riceburners".

Accord Man 01-09-2002 10:00 AM

Sorry to hear that man..

93chromeacc 01-09-2002 10:30 AM

someone probly just borrowed all that cuz they had a flat or somethin. Maybe they'll return it eventually. Cuz if they took nothin else, they seem to be good sumeritans...I would assume.

Accord Man 01-09-2002 10:35 AM

Wouldnt a good samaritan ask first?!

Addict 01-09-2002 12:04 PM

That's wierd. Hey at least your car is still in one piece.

Racing Rice 01-09-2002 12:25 PM

LOL... Crooks with no taste... What could be worse..

Sorry to here about that tho.. That really sucks..

slowEJ6 01-09-2002 02:12 PM

well......its not bad that they didnt take stuff thats actually worth something. seems more like itd be someone playing a joke on you since they took worthless stuff ya know? either way though, im sure its hella aggrivating.

94_AcCoRd_EX 01-09-2002 02:14 PM

Wow, sorry to hear that. Its a very strange situation if they didn't go for your CD player. Was all the stuff stolen in the trunk? Are you sure they entered your car?

FeelMyRide 01-09-2002 03:33 PM

Its an invasion of privacy.. your car is your personal space. I get mad if someone borrows the car and the mirrors and seat are moved. So I'm sorry to hear it happened.. was this stuff in the trunk or in the cabin?

yep and i just noticed that my 500 ft/lb impact wrench is missing. that was expensive as hell, around 250 or so. Damn if i find who did it i'll kill him.

ebpda9 01-09-2002 06:46 PM

I know who the "thief" is

After 2 hours of venting around my house, swearing like crazy finally the "thief" showed up. Well it was my dad that played a dumb joke on me and he returned most of my stuff, xcept the strut bars wich i'm gonna get back when i pay my 3000 debt.

94_AcCoRd_EX 01-09-2002 06:54 PM

That's pretty retarded if you ask me. What if you had called the police and all that?

ChrisCantSkate 01-09-2002 06:58 PM

hahaha, thats funny, kinda evil, but funny, at least you didnt file a police report.

Racing Rice 01-09-2002 06:59 PM

reason for that ? To learn not to leave my car unlocked in the future. i guess my brother left it unlocked after he got his coat out of my car last night. Guess i'm still gonna kill somebody. ;)

FeelMyRide 01-09-2002 10:14 PM

ebpda9 01-09-2002 10:22 PM

So they would rather have a thief steal their car in mint condition.. then lock the car and have a broken window or something from a thief trying to get in?

I'm going to have to say that's not the way to go. Maybe if the person was a professional, they would get it anyway. If your car is unlocked, any punk teenager can just open it and jack your CDs, radar detector, etc.

Not a good idea
