CTR coupe / project ideas....

So I've got this Civic sitting here, and I'm thinking that I'd like to make it look as though Honda made a USDM Civic Type R coupe.

Here's what I wanna do:

1. Blue/white headlights
2. Flat black dash
3. Carbon fiber instrument panel
4. Black carpet
5. Type R seats
6. Type R body kit
7. Championship White paint (correct name?)
8. ITR rear wing
9. ITR engine swap (w/turbo later on, maybe)
10. 1999 red/white tail lights. I hate the amber crap on my '98

I don't want it to look ricey, so I'll probably refrain from putting big red Rs everywhere, but other than that I want the car to look "stock".

Whatcha think? Any ideas?

ditch the ITR if u plan to go turbo (not worth the money), either get a GSR, or LS for boost.

^agreed
If money isnt an object (and it doesnt appear to be) then go ahead...but a gsr turbo would be a better idea.

Hmmm...speed isn't a *huge* issue here. I think I'd rather have the correct parts than just be fast. If I want fast, I'll learn to ride a motorcycle :) . Crap. I just realized that I forgot about suspension and wheels. This is going to get expensive.

It always does...

TypeR boost is very limited if internals left stock. I think I'm pretty much sittin on the edge with 9 psi on a JDM ITR motor. Granted it pulls hard as shit, but I dont think it'll last long. I plan to build my internals, including sleeving, this winter....

if you want to build a CTR why dont you use a CTR engine?
